Salary range : $65,000 - $70,000

Required Skills and Qualifications

» At least a relevant AQF Certificate III or Certificate IV
qualification or equivalent
OR
» 3 years employment experience as a Horticulture
Farm Manager with relevant formal training
OR
» 5 years employment experience as a Horticulture
Farm Manager with no formal training

Prepare to relocate, live and work in regional area and regional adjustment.
Required Experience:

At least two (2) years of relevant work experience.

Position Summary:

4WaysFresh is a leading horticultural enterprise committed to sustainable farming and innovation. We operate across multiple farms in WA and SA, producing high-quality crops for domestic and export markets. We are looking for skilled and experiencedHorticulture Farm Managers who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the cultivation, growing, and maintenance across the farm. Working closely with staff and management, you will ensure production strategies are effectively implemented, resources are optimised, and all horticultural operations maintain high quality and efficiency standards.

This is a full-time position which may involve weekend or public holidays work and some unplanned hours of work where the need arises (paid accordingly).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Determining, implementing and monitoring production strategies, policies, and plans.
Planning production activities considering output quality, quantity, cost, time, and labour requirements.
Controlling the operation of production plant and quality procedures through maintenance planning, allocation of operating hours, and supply of parts and tools.
Monitoring production output and costs, adjusting processes and resources to minimise expenditure.
Reporting production matters to other managers.
Overseeing the acquisition and installation of new plant and equipment.
Directing research into production methods, and recommending and implementing initiatives.
Maintaining accurate production records and reports. Coordinating the implementation of occupational health and safety requirements.
Leading staff activities and monitoring performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
