Salary range : $65,000 - $70,000
Position Summary:
4WaysFresh is a leading horticultural enterprise committed to sustainable farming and innovation. We operate across multiple farms in WA and SA, producing high-quality crops for domestic and export markets.4 Ways Fresh is looking for a skilled and experienced Nurseryperson who can use their knowledge and skills in horticultural farm and is responsible for propagating and cultivating trees, shrubs, and ornamental and flowering plants in a plant nursery.
This is a full-time position which may involve weekend or public holidays work and
some unplanned hours of work where the need arises (paid accordingly).
Duties and responsibilities:
Preparing potting media and containers before planting
Selecting seeds, bulbs and cuttings, and planting them in beds, lawn areas and tubs
Budding and grafting vegetative material onto root stock
Watering plants manually and controlling automatic watering operations
Applying pesticides to control pests, diseases, weeds and nutritional and environmental plant disorders
Keeping records of soil mixtures, plantings, treatments, losses and yields
Selecting plants and packaging them for presentation and delivery
Advising customers on plant care and appropriate plants for local conditions
May plan sales area layouts and visual merchandise presentation
Required Skills/Knowledge:
At least relevant AQF Cert III or Cert IV qualifications or equivalent
At least two (2) years of relevant work experience
