Salary range : $65,000 - $70,000

Required Skills and Qualifications

Have at least a relevant AQF Diploma or higher qualification or equivalent; OR

3 years of relevant work experience.

Required Experience:

At least 1 year of relevant work experience.

Position Summary:

4WaysFresh is a leading horticultural enterprise committed to sustainable farming and innovation. We operate across multiple farms in WA and SA, producing high-quality crops for domestic and export markets.4 Ways Fresh is looking for skilled and experienced Production Horticultural Supervisors who are responsible for overseeing and undertaking the cultivation, growing and maintenance of vegetables, fruits, berries, nuts, and other crops. The work can be undertaken in either an indoor facility or shed, or outdoor farm setting, or both. The Production Horticultural Supervisor is involved in overseeing of all of the associated production processes.

This is a full-time position which may involve weekend or public holidays work and some unplanned hours of work where the need arises (paid accordingly).

Duties and responsibilities:

· Order seed, fertiliser and chemicals.

· Manage the planting operation.

· Manage the irrigation requirements.

· Ensure appropriate fertilizers and plant nutrition requirements are met.

· Implement appropriate pesticide and weedicide programs.

· Recruit and coordinate the farm or production horticulture workforce.

· Oversee harvest operations and relevant transport and sales operations.

· Ensure all farm equipment is maintained and in service.

· Ensure all buildings, sheds, equipment and facilities are maintained to appropriate health

· standards and a quality focused operation.

· Plan activities to minimise environmental impact and monitor environmental effects of

· farming and production horticulture operations.

Extra Candidate Requirements

Must have at least 1 year hands-on horticulture or farming experience

Must demonstrate a strong understanding of safe, efficient, and high-quality farming practises.

A proactive and reliable team player, capable of working independently and contributing to productive horticultural operations.

Must be committed to long-term work.

Good physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced outdoors environment in all weather conditions.

Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
